The Scholarship is a private sector scholarship administered by The Association of Bands in Singapore. It was set up by the financial community in Singapore in honour of former Deputy Prime Minister Dr Goh Keng Swee, who fostered Singapore’s economic development and growth as a reputable international financial centre. Each year, three to four scholarships are awarded to outstanding students from 15 Asia-Pacific economies to pursue undergraduate studies in one of Singapore’s universities. The scholarship will cover the following expenses:
1. Tuition and other compulsory fees;
2. Airfare to Singapore and back to their home country upon completion or study;
3. Annual maintenance allowance of SGD 6,500;
4. Hostel allowance based on institution of study; and
5. A one-off settling-in allowance of SGD 200 upon arrival in Singapore.

Applicants selected to attend the final interview will be notified by mid-May. The final interview will take place in end-May 2024 and will be conducted virtually (via Zoom or Microsoft Teams)
